I invented the term because I thought human interface and usability were too narrow. I wanted to cover all aspects of the person’s experience with the system including industrial design graphics, the interface, the physical interaction and the manual. Since then the term has spread widely, so much so that it is starting to lose it’s meaning.
“
Everything has a personality: everything sends an emotional signal. Even where this was not the intention of the designer, the people who view the website infer personalities and experience emotions. Bad websites have horrible personalities and instill horrid emotional states in their users, usually unwittingly. We need to design things–products, websites, services–to convey whatever personality and emotions are desired.
[UX Magazine] Why persuasive design should be your next skill set

剛開始看到Persuasive Design這名詞時對我來說感到相當的陌生,我用Google字典看了又看,有說服力的,打動人心的,令人信服的,還有看到滲透式設計,從字面上來看很難了解他是怎樣的一種設計方式.大致看完這篇UX Magazine中所提到的文章,決定以”說服力設計”來定義,但文章中我還是以原文呈現.
對於UX設計上,我想文章裡面有許多觀點是蠻值得去思考,可以做為在互動設計方法上的參考.其中也提到一些道德上的議題,對於UX來說,這樣的設計方式是否又太像是一種廣告行銷的方式來改變使用者心中的行為,而單純為了公司牟利?我想這部分,這樣的設計架構依然在做嘗試與改善,我們都可以試著思考看看,讓這種技巧正確的使用在UX設計上.

[UX Magazine] The dirtiest word in UX:Complexity

這是一篇在2010年在UX Magazine上的文章,同時也是蠻熱門的一篇文章,連大師Donald Norman也在下面(而且還是坐沙發)回文,可見這篇文章寫得挺不賴的.之前在交大資工演講中也聽了Stanley的演講,他主要在談論互動設計與HCI在設計上時要考量的是Human nature(人性),其中談到了Complexity,Complexity是一個事實(fact),但Simplicity在心中(in mind),所以我決定好好來探討一下”Complexity“如何在UX中被看待.
